What is the Viet Nam E-Visa?
It is an electronic visa for eligible foreign travellers entering Viet Nam, subject to the applicable immigration conditions.
How long is a Vietnam eVisa valid?
It can be issued for up to 90 days. The dates on the issued e-Visa determine its actual validity.
Is Vietnam eVisa available for multiple entry?
Yes. Single-entry and Multiple-entry are available. Follow the number of entries stated on your issued document.
What documents are needed for a Vietnam eVisa?
Prepare a portrait photograph and an image of the passport data page. The application also collects personal, passport, contact and travel information.
Do I need a passport photo?
You need a portrait photograph as well as the passport data-page image. A recent JPG/JPEG portrait approximately 4 × 6 cm, under 2 MB, with a white background is recommended.
Can I use the eVisa at any border crossing?
No. Use an authorised entry or exit point for e-Visa holders and comply with the conditions of the issued visa.
Can children be included in the same application?
The children section is for children under 14 included in the same passport. A child with their own passport needs a separate application.
What information is required for the application?
The form collects personal and passport details, visa dates and entry type, travel and accommodation information, contacts, and relevant background, occupation, children, expenses and insurance details.
Can I apply while already in Viet Nam?
This e-Visa application route is for applicants outside Viet Nam. A new visa while in Viet Nam may be possible only under the applicable separate conditions; it is not an automatic e-Visa extension.
What happens if information in the application is incorrect?
It may need correction or completion, and false information may lead to refusal. Contact us if details you already supplied need to be corrected.
